100+ Observations on iNaturalist

This year we have begun surveying the flora and fauna of the arboretum using iNaturalist. We have just past our first milestone of 100 observations in the woodland, covering 75 species!

Here are some highlights of what we have discovered so far:

Silver-washed Fritillary (Argynnis paphia)
Buff-Tip (Phalera bucephala)
European Toad (Bufo bufo)
Golden-bloomed Longhorn (Agapanthia villosoviridescens)
European Peacock Butterfly (Aglais io)
No ID yet!
Alder Root Gall Bacteria (Frankia alni)
Coral Fungi (Genus Ramaria)
Scarlet Pimpernel (Lysimachia arvensis)
