Join us on 21st September as we celebrate the equinox and the arrival of Autumn to the arboretum.
There will be guided tours of the tree collection, craft activities, games and talks exploring the history of the Ducie family and their estate, beautiful music from a local choir, stalls from local makers and a chance to get your hands dirty as we plant new specimens. We’ll also be serving a warming vegetarian stew cooked over the Roundhouse fire, as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate all day.
Due to the natural pathways the site is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues, and only suitable for off-road buggies
There is no running water or electricity here, we invite visitors to bring sufficient drinking water and a picnic. Hot drinks and a vegetarian stew or dahl will be available in the Roundhouse.
Well behaved dogs welcome on leads
