Walk and talk – Foraging
March 26 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
£20.00 – £25.00
Starting at 10am or 1pm, Bushcraft lead and self confessed herb nerd, Kelly, invites you on a journey of discovery around the Dell at Tortworth Arboretum foraging for spring plants and herbs.
We will begin at our handcrafted roundhouse with a brief foraging introduction and safety talk before venturing out into the arboretum together. You’ll learn identification techniques, everyday uses, and gain experience on how to recognise plant habitats and which specimens to avoid. Touch, smell and taste, take photos and videos, make notes and take away a wealth of information
This is a relaxed walk with lots of time to ask questions, satisfy your curiosity and expand your perspective of native plant life.
