Walk and Talk – Identifying mushrooms – pm

October 13 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

£18.00 – £20.00

Join our Collection Manager, Jake, for a few hours of happy rambling, learning about the mushrooms that grow right on our doorstep.

The walk will begin with a brief introduction to the arboretum and safety talk before venturing out together. Identifying mushrooms is a complicated but fascinating process. Jake will take you through some of the key features to look for, including how to recognise plant habitats and which specimens to avoid. This is an opportunity to touch, smell and learn, take photos and videos, make notes and take away a wealth of information.

This is a relaxed walk with lots of time to ask questions, satisfy your curiosity and expand your perspective of native plant life.
