Come and discover our tree collection, say hello to the goats, and bring a picnic to enjoy in the woods.   We are starting to open to the public, and taking strict measurements to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff. We are back up and running with our volunteer activities. We’ve made a few changes to keep everyone safe, so please read about them here, and get in touch if you’d like to come along (volunteer@tortwortharboretum.org) On Tuesdays we carry out general maintenance work in the arboretum, from repairing pathways, felling trees, and preparing firewood for our events. We welcome individuals who want to learn about woodland management, about exotic trees, and the hand tool skills used in woodland maintenance.…
