Alice has been part of the team since 2021 and has grown our Woodland Wellbeing Programme from strength to strength. Here’s what she says about working at Tortworth in her role:
I love my job and I’m only leaving due to family reasons (so if you’re applying to this role, count yourself lucky!).
The role is very varied, it’s a great mix of project delivery and project management, as well as the possibility to be involved at strategic level in the development of Tortworth Forest Centre.
I loved the opportunity to be in nature, share our beautiful arboretum with others and witness first hand the impact of what we do.

It’s about supporting the team to deliver creative and inspiring sessions and keep inclusivity in mind every step of the way.
In random order here are some of my favourite things about working at Tortworth Forest Centre: being in a beautiful place, my team and all my colleagues, supporting participants to feel brave enough to attend their first session, making participants feel cared for/seen/valued, streamlining some clunky processes, the constant learning, the opportunity to improve and grow as a person and as an organisation…
