Tales from Tortworth – Summer’s Story

I have attended the Oaktree project for 3 years now! When I first joined I was reserved and had very little social skills, now I have confidence, incredible life long friends and the safety of the woods to express my true emotions and feelings! 

Without Torthworth I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I’ve learnt so many incredible skills and connected with nature in a way I never thought i would. Being in nature now brings me peace and relaxation. 

I often sit on the log closest to the roundhouse and its close enough for me to still be involved in the group but also gives me that little bit of space to myself. I love watching the seasons change and seeing other people’s wellbeing improve.
