Forest Bathing: Breathe with the Forest
Join Ainsley, a Breathwork and Nature Connection Facilitator, for a grounding afternoon of resourcing through the breath beneath the canopy of Tortworth’s wonderful trees. These sessions offer a space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and meet the present moment with openness and curiosity. Through gentle breathwork and forest bathing practices , we’ll explore how the breath can bring calm, clarity, and resilience, even when challenging emotions arise.
About the event
The session will unfold at a restful pace, beginning with a grounding exercise around the fire to help you arrive fully in the space. You’ll then be guided through a series of simple, accessible breathwork techniques designed to support nervous system balance and cultivate a sense of calm presence. Between practices, we’ll have mindful moments to reflect, share (if you wish), and connect with the serenity of the woodland.
You’ll leave feeling more resourced, centered, and connected to yourself and the natural world around you.
These sessions offer an opportunity to explore inner stillness and emotional awareness in a nurturing environment, supported by nature and community. There is never any pressure to “get it right”, only an invitation to be with what’s here, exactly as it is.
Suitable for: all levels—no prior breathwork experience needed, ages 18+
Group size: limited to 12 participants for a more personal experience
What to bring: Water, a blanket or mat to sit or lie on, a warm layer, and an open mind. Please feel free to bring a journal if you have one
