Come and explore The Dell at the Tortworth Arboretum! Usually reserved for exclusive bookings, the Visitor Days are a chance to discover this special place and our botanical tree collection. You are invited to enjoy the peace, wander under redwoods, picnic amongst towering cedars and get lost among a hundred shades of green. Learn new skills, meet new people and help restore this unique woodland. We run monthly volunteer conservation days, using hand tools to restore the arboretum. If you enjoy working in the fresh air in stunning woodland surroundings, this is for you. Work could include clearing bracken and bramble, chopping firewood, opening up pathways and cutting back overgrowth, and more.
