January volunteer day

We had our first volunteer day of the year yesterday –  a massive thank you to everyone that came along, it was wonderful to see so many regulars and new faces!

It got a bit soggy towards the end but we had a great time. We constructed a new round wood pile, made a dead hedge out of a fallen conifer tree, cleared the road, processed timber and split logs. We also got started clearing up an area in the middle of the site for new plantings in the autumn. It was a busy day and a great start to the year.
