The Government has lifted all restrictions relating to the Covid-19 coronavirus in England.  Please take a moment to read our own guidelines before you come to the arboretum, in order to keep visitors, volunteers and staff safe.  Please ask us if you would like to read our full risk assessment in relation to Covid-19

It is important that you read all of the following information carefully so that you know what to expect when you come. This applies to staff, volunteers and group participants.

Please do not come to the arboretum if you are testing positive with Covid-19, or are unwell with any of the main symptoms of Covid-19:

  • Fever
  • New, continuous cough
  • Loss of, or change to, sense of taste or smell

If you have had close contact with a positive Covid-19 case in the last 10 days:

  • Please exercise caution and only come to the arboretum if you are testing negative.
  • Please do not travel on our minibus.

Hygiene

We encourage everyone to practice good hygiene before and during their visit, especially
when having refreshments/lunch.

Food and drink

For Sunday volunteer days please bring your own mug, bowl and cutlery for hot drinks and food.

Minibus

We will ventilate the space by keeping windows open. This will still apply in cold weather so bring an extra layer to wear. Face coverings are optional and available on request.

Working on site

We will provide gloves that will be on a two week rotation between uses. Please be mindful of others personal space when working in close proximity.
