Tales from Tortworth – Zoe and Georgie’s story

Join us as we celebrate our 10th year with heartfelt stories from those who’ve been part of our journey. Below we hear from Zoe and Georgie who often hire the arboretum for workshops.

Georgie and I first visited Tortworth Arboretum in early Spring of 2023.  We were looking for a suitable outside woodland area to hold a barefoot, yoga day retreat.  We were immediately captured by beauty and magic of the place and we knew there and then that we wanted to hold our retreat there.

Since then we have held a number of day retreats at Tortworth and each one has been so special.  It is the perfect get away for those looking to reconnect to themselves and to the surrounding nature with little gems scattered throughout to discover. Some highlights, to name a few include a beautiful meditation whilst lying underneath a green canopy, a stimulating barefoot walk through the undergrowth, moving and breathing with the trees and a safe space to share and listen.

We have another beautiful afternoon planned for Saturday 21st June which can be booked via the link below if you would like to join us for a magical afternoon in the trees.

Tortworth Arboretum is a truly wonderful place full of wonderful people who are dedicated to providing a place for us all the enjoy and for that we are thankful.
