April volunteer day

It was a beautiful day to be in the woods yesterday! Full of bluebells and birdsong.

A dedicated team of volunteers worked hard clearing bamboo in the middle of the arboretum. We used mattocks to dig up roots, cleared along a drainage ditch, and also found two new spots for trees to be planted in the autumn.

A massive thank you to everyone that came along!
