Work with us

We are currently seeking freelance contractors for the following projects.

The Hawthorn Project:

The Hawthorn Project is a women’s addiction recovery project based at Tortworth Forest Centre.

We invite women in recovery from substance abuse to join us for our weekly Forest School inspired woodland sessions, to build confidence, self-esteem, and wellbeing. We have been running sessions since 2015 and have established a sound reputation for our sessions that focus on recovery and inclusion.

Project Lead

We are pleased to be seeking an energetic and compassionate Project Lead to take on the organisation and delivery of the sessions. This is a rare opportunity to join an established project and develop it further, bringing your own skills and ideas to the sessions while making a significant difference to people’s lives. You will work with the support of our Director and project leaders to ensure the safe, smooth running of the sessions while offering interesting, varied and appropriate activities and experiences to participants.

We welcome contractors of all backgrounds and are keen to ensure that our team reflect the diversity of the women who attend Hawthorn Project.
